Landscape Futures

Landscape Futures is a nationwide action research program. The aim is to improve and develop rural landscape planning in Denmark, so the planning and policy fit more appropriately to the increasing and more complex demands and use of the landscape. Landscape Futures started in November 2013 and runs until the end of 2017.

13 projects focusing on planning and design for future landscapes

Landscape Futures is an interdisciplinary research program focusing on new planning and design solutions for future arrangement of Danish cultural landscapes. The program consists of 13 projects all aiming at high levels of dialogue and collaboration and all requiring trans disciplinary collaboration to be able to deal with the new and complex challenges of designing future landscapes. The projects are real life planning projects representing different tasks and different Danish landscape types.
